Metering Mayo Jars for Labeling

A customer faced frequent jams and downtime in a labeling line for glass jars and needed help metering mayo jars to solve the challenges. Morrison’s engineers solved this by creating a timing screw drive unit with adjustable screws to handle both square and round containers. Using Morrison Deluxe Adjusters, operators could easily transition between container sizes. To further prevent jams, shingle infeed rails were added for stable container positioning and quick-change capability. The system, made of Black Anodized Aluminum and food-safe UHMW plastic, met food industry standards, improving efficiency and reducing downtime.
