Our customer approached us to meter tall, stacked whipped cream containers for precise spacing before check weighing, requiring Morrison’s high-speed, precise solution.
Morrison Engineers designed a dual-stacked timing screw drive unit that accepted full, metal 211 aerosol cans from a backlog and spaced them to a 7” pitch for a check weighing application. The cans then passed over a dead plate before reaching the check weigher.
The system was made from Stainless steel and the timing screws are made of UHMW plastic., offering a durable and lightweight solution.
The dual-stacked timing screws met the customer’s metering needs for tall containers, with a simple design and durable materials that matched dairy industry standards.
