A dairy manufacturer sought an automated egg carton denester solution to handle tightly packed cardboard egg cartons, as manual denesting slowed throughput and reduced profits.
Morrison’s team of Engineers implemented a set of two vertical timing screw systems. These dual timing screws effectively denested the egg cartons onto a moving conveyer below, providing a seamless transition onto their production line. This design allowed for safe package handling at a speed of 240 CPM.
The system was designed with food-safe UHMW plastic and stainless steel for easy washdown applications. Offering a lightweight yet durable design that met the standards of the dairy industry.
Morrison’s custom solution increased production, streamlining denesting with dual vertical timing screws at 240 CPM. Automation reduced employee strain, minimized downtime, and maintained package integrity, boosting overall productivity.
