A customer needed a system that would accept rectangular containers from a backlog and index them under a filling application at a half second dwell. The customer also asked us to incorporate a pneumatic vibrator to assist in the settling process.
Our expert engineers developed an all-in-one system that meters, fills and dwells the containers while the pneumatic vibrator assists in the settling process. The pneumatic vibrator is a small device that gently shakes the sides of the containers being forceful enough to make sure the product is thoroughly settled but not damaged. After passing through the vibrator the containers were indexed and sent away for a downstream application.
Morrison’s innovative solution was constructed from stainless steel and UHMW plastic. Providing a durable and lightweight construction solution.
Morrison’s solution improved the manufacturer’s metering capabilities. The system successfully metered and vibrated the containers. This helped the customer save money by automating their production process, while increasing throughput and reducing downtime. This system met the expectations of the customer and the household products industry.
