Our customer needed to accept round metal cans and invert them for the air rinsing process before the assembly station.
We designed a timing screw drive system to accept empty round containers, invert them 180 degrees, pass them over dual ionized air rinsing stations, and discharge them with the opening down onto the conveyor. A backlog is recommended for optimal system performance.
The timing screw drive unit was constructed with Black anodized aluminum.
The solution provided seamless inversion and rinsing, resulting in debris-free cans before filling. The timing screw and twist assembly delivered consistent handling, tailored to accommodate various container sizes. Dual ionized air stations enhanced product quality, showcasing Morrison’s expertise in customized, efficient container handling for the beverage industry.
