Combining Noodle Bowls

Customer Container Handling Challenge

An overseas Morrison customer needed to automate a system that would create an alternate inverted pattern while combining noodle bowls into a single lane.

Morrison Solution

Morrison designed a dual timing screw drive to create an alternating one-up, one-down pattern by combining two lanes of containers. The system handles soft, rigid containers carefully to maintain integrity and was shipped to a customer in Malaysia.

Construction

This system is constructed from black anodized aluminum and food-safe UHMW plastic, offering a strong, easy-to-clean solution.

Results

Morrison’s system efficiently handled the two lanes of containers, combining them into a single lane with the desired pattern without compromising the shape or integrity of the bowls. Overall, the solution enhanced the customer’s production capabilities, to help provide a reliable and efficient method for creating the alternating pattern of noodle bowls, increase throughput and productivity.
