A major spice manufacturer needed a solution for precisely metering pepper containers into a rotary filler while accommodating multiple sizes and ensuring fast changeovers. Morrison’s engineering team developed a timing screw drive unit that accepted empty containers from a backlog, spacing them for seamless feeding into a starwheel for filling. The system handled two container sizes (3oz and 6oz) at speeds of 150 to 180 containers per minute, with color-coded screws enabling quick, tool-free changeovers to maintain efficient production.
