Feeding Servo Bowls

A customer needed to feed full, open containers into a seamer infeed conveyor at a 5.50” pitch with minimal splashing. To address this, we designed a servo-controlled timing screw drive that gently feeds containers into the lug conveyor, providing precision and reducing splash. Morrison also provided guarding to encapsulate the equipment, along with infeed and discharge tunnels, and quick-change guides to streamline changeovers. Key benefits include positive product transfer onto lug conveyors, minimal gap transfer to the flighted conveyor, independent servo motors for simplified maintenance, and a splash-minimizing AC conveyor for smooth seamer integration.
