Turning Square and Metering Round Snack Jars

One machine, two purposes: turning square and metering round snack jars.

This Morrison dual timing screw drive unit was designed to accept full, round, capped containers and perform one of two functions depending on the container the machine was set up for. Square containers are turned 90 degrees counterclockwise via turning timing screws. Round containers are fed into their designated set of feed screws and metered.

We designed this system as tool-less quick change so operators would have ease of changeover – quickly – between round and square, whether it be for turning or straight metering.
