This innovative system, designed for an OEM in the pharmaceutical industry, specializes in twisting and grouping containers for precise robotic pick-and-place applications. The process begins with containers being taken from bulk and inverted 90 degrees to ride directly on top of the timing screws. From there, the containers are grouped into sets of 3 or 5, following the timing screw’s motion, allowing the robot to seamlessly pull them from the screws.
