Soup Can Dividing

A large food manufacturer needed to divide one product lane into two for x-ray inspection, providing precise metal container placement. Morrison’s engineers created a dual timing screw drive unit to discharge and meter 13 oz containers to the desired pitch. Pneumatic arms diverted containers into either lane, providing positive control and minimizing damage, even at speeds of 600 CPM (300 per lane).
