Our customer needed a solution to feed random pharmaceutical containers into a specific 5” pitch for an end-of-line pick-and-place application. Morrison’s engineers developed a timing screw drive unit that spaces round pill containers into a consistent 5” pitch, maintaining this alignment for the final 44” of the screw. The unit, connected to a cartoner, provided a cost-effective, custom handling solution. Delivered with five timing screws for container sizes ranging from 30cc to 225cc, the system offers quick, tool-free changeover, allowing operators to easily switch container sizes with minimal downtime.
