COVID-19 Test Kits Integrated Solution

When COVID-19 hit, Thermo Fisher Scientific needed to scale up test production quickly, producing only 30-50 tests per minute on four lines. Morrison’s Head of Engineering, Ryan Finke, designed systems to handle test kits end-to-end, boosting production to 120 tests per minute per line. With precise timing screws controlling each step, the solution increased daily output to 130,000 kits, with 16 lines integrated globally. This custom solution met demand and was delivered within six months.
