Grouping Feed Screw Drive Units are designed to group containers into pre-determined pack patterns to aid in the automation of the multi-packing process. Individual containers are fed into a set of timing screws that positively control the containers while they are discharged into the necessary counts for the grouping process.
Grouped containers are discharged at predetermined pitches to feed directly into the sleeving, bundling, or shrink wrapping process. One drive unit can create multiple necessary pack patterns by simply swapping out the timing screws.
