Morrison Container Handling Solution’s Mia Stevens Named 2025 PMMI “On the Rise” Award Recipient

CHICAGO, IL — Morrison Container Handling Solutions is proud to announce that Mia Stevens, Marketing Specialist, has been named one of ten recipients of the “On the Rise” Award from PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies. The honor recognizes emerging leaders under 35 who are shaping the future of the packaging and processing industry through innovation, leadership, and measurable impact.

Since joining Morrison in 2022, Stevens has made an extraordinary impact through a series of transformative marketing initiatives that have strengthened the company’s digital presence, accelerated new market development, and redefined how the Morrison brand engages with customers.

“Mia exemplifies the spirit of innovation and collaboration that drives Morrison forward,” said Allison Wagner, Director of Marketing and Business Strategy at Morrison. “Her leadership, creativity, and collaborative mindset have had a profound impact on the capabilities and growth of our marketing team. This recognition from PMMI is a testament to her exceptional contributions.”

One of Stevens’ most notable achievements was leading a redesign of Morrison’s website, a massive project encompassing more than 500 new pages. Her vision went far beyond aesthetics, building a structure centered on search optimization and user experience. The redesigned site drove a 48% increase in website traffic with stronger engagement across all key metrics.

Her ability to merge technical SEO with strategic storytelling turned Morrison’s website into a high-performing digital hub that reflects the company’s engineering expertise and customer commitment.

Building on that foundation, Stevens executed Morrison’s most ambitious account-based marketing (ABM) initiative to date, aligning marketing and sales teams to target high-value prospects with precision and purpose, leading to sales increases in key areas of the market. Her efforts fostered a stronger culture of collaboration across departments, positioning marketing as a proactive driver of revenue and strategic growth.

Recognizing the power of visual storytelling, Stevens also led a company-wide evolution in video marketing strategy, producing more authentic, story-driven content that resonated with customers and partners alike. The initiative led to a 20% increase in email open rates, demonstrating how her work continues to elevate Morrison’s customer engagement across digital platforms.

“I’m incredibly grateful to receive this award and to be recognized by both my company and the packaging industry,” Stevens said. “Over the past three and a half years at Morrison, I’ve been given the tools, opportunities, and support to grow, learn, and challenge myself in new ways. I’m proud to be part of a team that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Working in marketing allows me to share the incredible stories of our people, products, and impact, and winning this award motivates me to keep pushing boundaries, supporting others in their growth, and contributing to the future of our industry.”

A graduate of PMMI’s Leadership Development Program, Stevens embodies a lifelong commitment to learning and mentorship. She regularly invests in her own professional growth and serves as a mentor within Morrison’s internal program, guiding colleagues and helping nurture future leaders within the organization.

“Mia’s work shows that modern marketing isn’t just about generating clicks or content—it’s about creating meaningful connections that drive measurable business outcomes,” Wagner said. “Her ability to unite creativity and analytics has raised the bar for what marketing can achieve in manufacturing.”

Morrison congratulates Mia Stevens on this outstanding achievement and looks forward to her continued leadership and innovation in the years ahead.
