Seth Licke, Aftermarket Customer Service Manager at Morrison Container Handling Solutions, Recognized as PMMI honors 2021 On the Rise Award Winners

Glenwood, IL – Morrison Container Handling Solutions is proud to congratulate Seth Licke, Aftermarket Customer Service Manager, for winning PMMI’s On the Rise Award for 2021.

PMMI, the Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, announced the 2021 winners of the On the Rise Awards today at their annual meeting in Detroit. This honor recognizes young professionals who have demonstrated outstanding achievements and leadership potential within the packaging and processing industry.

Nominated for his impact on significantly improving processes, while increasing sales and driving growth; Seth’s impact combined with his positive attitude embodies our organization’s values in all he does. His reputable character makes him the perfect candidate for this esteemed honor and young ambassador for the packaging industry.

When asked about his impressive and major achievements, Seth lives up to his reputation by humbling replying that his success is due to that of those around him, part of what has made him a successful leader of the aftermarket department.

Seth joined Morrison as an Inside Sales Manager in January 2019. This was a newly created role, which he helped define, and quickly produced significant results. Within six months of starting, Seth added the responsibility of service scheduling and management as our Aftermarket Sales & Service Manager, growing the service team into a true department for the company.

When the world became consumed by the COVID-19 pandemic, he quickly augmented his role to become project manager for the Thermo Fisher COVID-19 test kit packaging lines, leading our team to deliver 31 fully integrated machines in just under one year. This led Morrison to enable Thermo Fisher to increase test kit production by more than 20,000% when the initial 16 lines were delivered. With all 31 in place, more than 5.3 million test kits are manufactured each day.

In June 2021, Seth was promoted to Aftermarket Customer Service Manager where he now is responsible for leading our ever-expanding service team and all aftermarket communications with customers. Due to Seth’s determination, talent, and hard work, Morrison measured a sixfold increase in inside sales revenue over the previous year. He continues to thrive and drive sales and service for the company.
