Customer Container Handling Challenge: Our customer needed a way to denest cheese cups. The cups needed to be placed on a conveyor and maintain orientation.
Morrison Solution: Morrison’s container handling experts tackled this challenge by designing a two lane system to denest the cheese cups. The system will accept 2 lanes of cheese cups and denest them onto 2 separate conveyors. The system is equipped with a rotary disk allowing excess cup stacks to be fed into the system to create a backlog. This allows operators to avoid filling directly into the timing screws.
As a vertical denester, this system accepts the containers from an upright stack and they are dropped below onto the conveyor to be filled.
