Customer Container Handling Challenge: The customer needed to turn the container 180 degrees prior to cartoning so the label was facing outward. Space was limited for installation of the equipment.

Morrison Solution: Our solution is a dual timing screw drive system that turns the containers 180 degrees, bump leading to bump trailing, through the screws. The footprint of this system is small in order to accommodate the space constraints.

The infeed guides are change parts for the two different container sizes and control the containers as the enter the infeed side of the timing screw to reduce fallen containers and increase stability.

The system was equipped with “NO TOOLS” Quick Change timing screws to run the 2.5oz container size as well at the 5oz container size on the same system.
