Customer Container Handling Challenge: Our customer sought a system that would present cheese trays to downstream equipment after leaving a sealer wide side leading at 11 cycles per minute.

Morrison Solution: Our engineers devised a custom drive assembly to accept the cheese trays wide side leading and turn them 90 degrees to be narrow side leading for the downstream equipment. With the containers coming at 11 cycles a minute, the Morrison screws run to accept 121 containers per minute, slowing down the conveyor and screws to perform this function.

Photoeyes were implemented upstream of the Morrison equipment to ensure there is a prime feeding of the system. A photoeye downstream ensured no product backed up in the screws.
