Customer Container Handling Challenge: A high speed metering system was needed to space prior to a sleeving application.
Morrison Solution: We designed a dual metering custom drive assembly to accept the backlog of containers of square bottles and space them to a 120mm pitch prior to feeding the sleever.
The benefits to using a dual screw in this high speed application are:
Dual screw to contact bottle in 4 places for superior control
Shingle infeed to handle backpressure caused by full containers
Infeed offset rails to ensure smooth feed of containers into the system
Dynamically balanced timing screws to ensure smooth operation at high speeds
