Customer Container Handling Challenge: Our customer needed to upgrade their existing machine to be able to run a new container shape on that line.

Morrison Solution: Overall, engineers at Morrison designed a system that allows our customer to fill empty laundry detergent containers consistently. They designed a timing screw drive unit to fit their exact existing system that feeds the containers into the timing screw, pauses to index the containers at a consistent place and at a consistent speed, before moving them on via conveyor belt.

The team at Morrison wanted to bring more to the customer than just a satisfactory product. Engineers wanted to help our customer in another area as well. Cutting down on downtime on manufacturing floors leads to more efficiency when packaging different types and sizes of containers. To do this, Morrison also supplied the customer with dual deluxe adjusters that will assist in cutting back downtown during changovers between container sizes.
