Customer Container Handling Challenge: This food company needed to move containers from a wrapping application while standing up to a laying down position on a lug conveyor.
Morrison Solution: This system accepts round salt and pepper spice containers from a wrapper while they are standing up, indexes them, and lays the containers down on a lug conveyor via twisting them. Through the index, the proper amount of containers are set up to enter the lug, and the twist inverts them to lay down in the lug prior to the cartoner.
To provide a cost-effective solution, the Morrison equipment is slave driven off the wrapper.
