Customer Container Handling Challenge: Our customer came to us and needed a way to efficiently and continuously run glass wine bottles on their packaging line without any glass breakage.

Morrison Solution: Our container handling experts designed a timing screw drive unit while also using star wheels and guides to continuously run glass containers with the proper spacing. These parts were specifically designed for the container size shown to reduce micro fractures. The machine shown is running continuously but the infeed screws will index the bottles to start and stop in time with the rest of the machine. This allows the machine to continuously run but reduces the likelihood of breakage or micro fractures in the container
