Customer Container Handling Challenge: Two uneven lanes of product needed to be able to be combined.
Morrison Solution: Our electrical and mechanical design teams engineered a 2:1 Smart Combiner that is capable of combining uneven lanes of product. The containers are released 180 degree out of phase and discharge rails merge the containers into one lane. The timing screws combine by releasing the containers out of phase in time.
Morrison utilized our electrical controls team to design the controls on this project, integrated VPF Epoxy coated Food Grade servo motors and gearboxes.
Full guarding was also provided on this project.
