The customer needed an automated solution for turning milk cartons after filling, ensuring consistent accuracy despite their square shape. The system had to handle 90-degree, 180-degree, or no turns within a limited footprint.
Our engineering team designed a system with a shingle infeed to gently accept and accurately turn milk cartons 90 or 180 degrees, or bypass turning entirely. Dual timing screws and large guide assemblies provided smooth, consistent turning without damage.
The system was constructed from stainless steel for high washdown environments, ensuring durability and easy maintenance.
Morrison’s custom solution ensured consistent carton turning (90°, 180°, or none), optimizing plant footprint, streamlining production, and preserving carton integrity while allowing flexible adjustments for various packaging needs.
