One Solution to Divide/Stack/Group Mac & Cheese Cups

Customer Container Handling Challenge

A Morrison customer needed all in one system solution to divide, stack, and group Mac and Cheese cups for sleeving. This posed a challenge for Morrison because of the number of applications that this system had to complete. This was done to save floor space in the customer’s warehouse.

Morrison Solution

Our engineers designed a system that divided a single lane of containers into two. One side stacked the cups using a twist mechanism, while the other metered them. The cups were grouped into four-packs, perfectly arranged for downstream sleeving. The system was compact, efficient, and met the customer’s spacing needs, with full safety guarding included.

Construction

This system is constructed with stainless steel and timing screws made from food-safe UHMW plastic, offering a robust, easy-to-maintain design that’s ideal for this type of operation.

Results

Morrison’s all-in-one system efficiently divided, stacked, and grouped Mac & Cheese cups for sleeving, meeting the customer’s and food industry’s demands.
