A leading alcohol manufacturer approached us with the challenge of precisely and accurately orienting a single lane of containers before labeling. Proper orientation was crucial to allow the labels to be applied correctly, and the solution needed to minimize container breakage while maintaining high precision.
Morrison provided a rotary orientor that accepted containers from any orientation, ensuring consistent control and accurate positioning for downstream labeling. Using timing screws and change parts, containers were fully controlled and oriented throughout the process before continuing down the line for labeling.
The system was constructed using anodized aluminum, stainless steel, and food-grade plastics.
The rotary orientor helped to ensured precise container orientation, significantly reducing labeling errors. The durable, food-grade system improved efficiency, reduced downtime, and met the customer’s 600 CPM production goals.
