Inverting and Combining Cereal

A single lane of cereal bowls is divided into two lanes, alternating between top-up and top-down orientations. A vacuum starwheel separates the lanes, each leading into a twist with a rotating flipper that alternates container orientation. Product detection provides a consistent pattern, even if a container is missing. At discharge, the top-up bowls are positioned opposite the top-down bowls, creating a 180-degree phase shift. Morrison provided integrated controls for seamless operation.
