“More than 20% of small businesses close in the first year, and 80% after 20 years,” says Morrison’s founder Nick Wilson. “Our company has not just survived; it has prospered for 51 years. This never could have happened without the leadership of Nancy, Chris, Ryan, and Dustin, and we are proud to be able to recognize the roles they play and give them titles that showcase the dedication and support they’ve brought to this company I started in 1971.”

Nick Wilson, will remain at Morrison as an influential part to the company’s ongoing innovation and continue to serve as an advisor for operational excellence, providing his more than 51 years of expertise to the leadership team. Nancy Wilson remains CEO and will continue to lead and grow the Morrison team.

Chris officially became an employee at Morrison in 1984, but his journey began the day he was born. He will continue the legacy his father started and grow this family business for the next generation to enjoy. Throughout his tenure, he has served in nearly every capacity, from manufacturing to engineering, sales and production, and Nick and Nancy believe his robust background in all areas of the business have prepared him to take on the role of president. Prior to this Chris was Vice President of Operations.

“I’m really eager to see our future growth that we are capable of due to the great team we have in place at Morrison,” Chris said. “This opportunity is exciting to me, but what is more exciting is to see how we can take this company forward for the next 50 years. I’ve watched my dad build this company into what it is today, and I’m looking forward to developing it more for the next generation.”

Dustin joined Morrison in 2011 as a regional sales manager and was promoted to Director of Sales in 2017.  Under his leadership the sales team has grown tremendously as has the sales team into the nationwide salesforce it is today. Nancy says he embodies Support Built In® to Morrison’s customers and continuously pushes the team to come up with innovative solutions to a variety of challenges the packaging industry faces today.

“Over the last 10 or so years I have been privileged to be part of such a great team and organization at Morrison,” Lee said. “During this time, I have learned from those around me and been able to grow in so many ways within my professional career that have made me a better person and leader. I’m excited for the opportunity to help others grow both personally and professionally, while continuing to push Morrison forward as the best in the business.”

Joining as a design engineer in 2011, Ryan always pushed the status quo when it came to designs, seeking out the most flexible, robust solution to any job he received. As Director of Engineering, he grew the engineering team to more than 25 engineers, giving it the velocity to design as many solutions as Morrison’s customers needed.

“The opportunity to continue to grow and lead within the Morrison organization is a true blessing,” Finke said. “How quickly ten years go by when you work at a fast-paced company that takes on unique opportunities within the packaging industry. Morrison is special because we treat everyone with integrity and respect, which is a true reflection of Nick and Nancy’s leadership. It reaches beyond our employees to our customers and community. Morrison strives to innovate while providing Support Built In and I’m excited to foster this in our team for years to come.”

Nick and Nancy are excited to see Chris, Dustin, and Ryan seek to understand what the market will need in the future and begin that work now.

“When we reflect on all Chris, Dustin, and Ryan have accomplished in their careers, it has been fun watching the three of them grow,” Nancy said. “I’m convinced they are the right leaders to grow for our company for another 50 years. With them in charge, backed by the support from our incredible team, there is nothing we won’t be able to accomplish.”
