KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Technical writing:  Collaborate with Engineers, Manufacturing and Assembly team members to create operating manuals for our custom designed container handling equipment and distribute to our customers.

  • Business & Creative Writing: Write copy for all initiatives, including marketing, sales and internal communications

  • Graphics Design:  Create documentation of equipment via photos and videos, edit accordingly, communicate and store. Create graphics as needed for advertisements, tradeshow material, marketing efforts, and all other company related graphics.

Field Service & Manufacturing Assembly Technician

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Frequent overnight travel (up to 70% of time) to customer facilities primarily within the United States, to measure, install, evaluate, troubleshoot or repair equipment.

  • Work with customers’ on-site production technicians and engineers to ensure smooth operation of machinery while maintaining Morrison’s high standard of customer service

  • Create, follow and maintain standardized processes for recording in-field activities, such as, machine adjustments, alterations necessary, rework needed, customer requests, etc.

  • Follow and maintain processes in-house for machine assembly

  • Gather necessary parts, subassemblies, tools and materials and assemble components and machines; read and understand engineering prints; test machinery methodically and comprehensively

  • Collaborate with engineers to relay progress and improve or alter parts, assemblies or components.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of experience assembling a variety of mechanical machines and components preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, Engineering degree desired

  • Comfortable using and navigating a variety of technological tools, such as computers, smartphones, FaceTime, Skype, recording videos, participating in WebEx sessions, etc

CNC Lathe Machinist

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Must be experienced with doing setups and programming

  • Using data supplied by Engineering, determine and execute proper bores, tapers, counter-bores, hubs and finished outside diameter on raw plastic

  • Choose proper cutters and drills based on parameters of each specific job

  • Observe progress of machining and watch for errors; inspect finished work for accuracy
